I huffed. "But there's nothing to do!" I plopped down on the sofa next to him, my phone forgotten. The apartment was small, and our shared living space was usually a battlefield of tangled charging cables and stray socks. Kenichi, ever the messy one, seemed to thrive in the chaos.

He finally paused his game, his eyes flickering to me. "What do you want me to do? Play with you?"

I puffed out my chest. "I shall confront Dr. Fridge in his lair! I will use my amazing…" I looked around again, my eyes landing on a discarded roll of toilet paper. "…Super Sticky Toilet Paper!"

Kenichi snorted with laughter. "Super Sticky Toilet Paper? That's… innovative!"

"It's incredibly adhesive!" I insisted. "It can trap even the most slippery of villains!"

I grabbed the toilet paper roll and a cushion, which would serve as my trusty shield. Kenichi, with a mischievous grin, picked up a stray controller, which would be his "power-up device."

"Alright, Hero Marin," he said, his voice filled with mock gravity. "Your mission begins now. Dr. Fridge's lair is located in… the kitchen!"

"Dr. Fridge!" I shouted, my voice echoing slightly in the quiet kitchen. "Release Mayor Tanaka's Teddy Bear at once!"

From behind the refrigerator, Kenichi made a deep, rumbling voice. "Never! This city will soon be plunged into an eternal winter, thanks to my chilling powers!"

I advanced, the toilet paper roll at the ready. "You underestimate Hero Marin, Dr. Fridge! Prepare to be ensnared by my Super Sticky Toilet Paper!"

I lunged forward, aiming the toilet paper at the refrigerator. I wrapped it around the handle, then the door, attempting to create an impassable barrier. It was harder than it looked. The toilet paper kept ripping, and my “adhesion” wasn’t quite as powerful as I’d imagined.

Kenichi, from his hiding spot, let out a series of exaggerated sound effects. "Whirrrr! Clank! Zap!"

I could feel a slight chill emanating from the refrigerator, or maybe it was just my imagination playing tricks on me. I struggled with the toilet paper, trying to secure it more effectively.

"This is where you underestimate me, Dr. Fridge!" I declared, trying to sound confident. "My Super Sticky Toilet Paper is infused with the power of… of… extra-strength adhesive!"
